| South Luangwa, Walking Safari, Lower Zambezi National Park | |||
| This trip offers a comprehensive overview of Zambia, with time in several of the best fixed and bush camps as well as a walking safari led by one of the country's foremost guides, Deb Tittle. Upon arrival, transfer to Nkwali Camp in the South Luangwa area, a perfect base from which to explore the South Luangwa National Park. After a full day of game viewing, transfer to Nsefu Camp, within the boundaries of the South Luangwa National Park. A full day at Nsefu can be spent on the scheduled game drives or on an all day picnic to the salt pans or a visit to Kawaza Village to learn about everyday Zambian life. From here, guests will transfer to a bush camp in a secluded area of the Nsefu sector. After one night, walk with Deb Tittle through ebony groves and alongside lagoons to the location of the second bush camp site; the day is flexible and will largely depend on Deb's sense of the game and environment. Finally, fly to Old Mondoro Camp in Lower Zambezi National Park. Here, three distinct ecosystems - riverbank, floodplains, and acacia groves - make for excellent game viewing. Spend your final three nights in Zambia on the banks of the Zambezi River, where this remote bush camp is set in a grove of trees. | |||
