This unique itinerary allows you to spend two weeks exploring the full breadth of Uganda's extraordinary diversity. Start with a night at Lake Mburo, relaxing after your flight. The next day, travel south through the highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, your base for tracking mountain gorillas. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where tree-climbing lions recline on low-hanging tree branches. Forest walks and game drives introduce you to the many birds and animals of Uganda's most popular park. After three nights at Queen Elizabeth National Park, head to Fort Portal for a refreshing night in the cool highlands of tea region. Tour Kibale Forest with a local guide before continuing to Semliki Wildlife Reserve for three nights. Chimp tracking, boat trips, forest walks and more are available for the adventurous visitor to Semliki. From here, drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Safari activities include a boat trip to the base of the waterfall - keep your eyes open for Nile crocodile and hippos. Spend two days exploring before driving to Kampala, where you will spend two nights. You may wish to tour the city or explore Jinja, the source of the Nile River. Your trip concludes when you transfer to Entebbe for your departure flight.

Please note: Gorilla tracking is a physically strenuous activity, during which visitors may spend from 2 to 8 hours trekking through dense rainforest in an effort to see gorillas in their natural habitat. A reasonable degree of fitness and stamina is required for participation.
