Once you return back to Kigali, be sure to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, one of the most moving museums we have come across, and an excellent way to better understand their very complex history.

Please note: Gorilla trekking is a physically strenuous activity, during which visitors may spend from 2 to 8 hours trekking through dense rainforest in an effort to see gorillas in their natural habitat. A reasonable degree of fitness and stamina is required for participation.
