Spend two weeks exploring the hidden nooks of northern Thailand on this active adventure journey, staying at some of the country’s most charming boutique properties along the way. Start in Bangkok with a lively multi-transport introduction to the city. In addition to a full day to see the highlights, spend another day on a walking tour of the city’s thriving Chinatown and an evening taking in the excitement of Bangkok’s nightlife. From here, head to Amphawa, where preservationists are actively working to protect charming aspects of the town like the floating market and the old shop houses. Fly to Chiang Rai, Thailand’s northernmost province, for a bicycle trip through some of the small villages and outings to the scenic surrounding regions like Doe Mae Salong and the Doi Tung Royal Gardens. Take a private car to Chiang Mai and spend two nights exploring Thailand’s second largest city. From there, head to Pai, a quiet town nestled in the mountains and a perfect base for activities like hiking and bicycling. The final destination is Mae Hong Son, one of the most remote and beautiful regions in Thailand. Spend a day enjoying the misty mountains views, Burmese temples and quiet villages of Mae Hong Son and then return to Bangkok for a final night before catching your international departure flight. |
