From here, you will have a chance to visit Kaikoura to see the famous whales and dolphins that frolic offshore. Next, you will enjoy the TranzAlpine train to Greymouth, where you will begin your self-drive along the rugged West Coast to Franz Josef Glacier for a heli-hike excursion.
