Begin with four nights in Cairo, the capital that has flourished along the banks of the mighty Nile. Visit all the classic ancient monuments, including the Great Pyramids, the Saqqara Pyramids and the National Egyptian Museum. Also experience the serenity of Coptic Cairo, home to some of the oldest Christian churches in the country, and learn about the splendor of Islamic Cairo with its breathtaking mosques and madrassas. After Cairo, fly to Luxor and explore the great temples of Karnak, Luxor, Hatchepsut and time permitting Ramesseum Temple. Visit the local souq and drink tea while sitting in a café by the Nile to experience the true Egyptian lifestyle. After two nights, fly to Sharm-el-Sheikh, the resort city on the Sinai Peninsula. Spend four nights in the resort of your choice enjoying the sunshine.
